Ingredients

  • 1 medium watermelon (approx. 4 cups cubed)
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • 2 tsp natural sweetener (optional, e.g., honey or agave)
  • Cubed watermelon (for garnish)
  • Fresh mint sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cube watermelon and blend until smooth
  • Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve to extract juice
  • Muddle mint leaves (lightly crush) in a shaker
  • Add watermelon juice, lime juice, and sweetener to the shaker
  • Top each glass with 4 oz blended mixture and 2 oz sparkling water
  • Garnish with watermelon cubes and mint sprigs

Notes

For optimal flavor, use fully ripe watermelon
Chill all ingredients beforehand for extra refreshing texture
Add a squeeze of lime directly into glasses for presentation
