Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed watermelon flesh (about 600g)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6–8 lemons)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjustable to taste)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 10–15 fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • Cut watermelon into cubes, removing seeds
  • Blend watermelon until smooth
  • Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp
  • In a pitcher, combine strained watermelon juice, lemon juice, sugar, and water
  • Stir until sugar dissolves
  • Chill for 30 minutes
  • Serve over ice garnished with mint leaves

Notes

Use fully ripe watermelon for maximum sweetness
Strain thoroughly for a silky texture
