Equipment

  • air fryer
  • tongs
  • paper towels

Ingredients

  • 8 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375–400°F for about 3 minutes.
  • Arrange the turkey bacon strips in a single layer inside the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  • Cook the turkey bacon for 6–10 minutes depending on thickness and desired crispness.
  • Flip the turkey bacon halfway through cooking so both sides crisp evenly.
  • Check the bacon during the final minute. The edges should look browned and crispy while the center remains tender.
  • Remove the turkey bacon from the air fryer and let it rest for about 1 minute before serving.

Notes

Do not overlap the turkey bacon strips in the air fryer basket for even crisping. Flip halfway through cooking for the best texture. Start checking the bacon about 1 minute early to avoid overcooking. Thick-cut turkey bacon may require slightly longer cooking time. Lightly blot cooked bacon with paper towels to maintain crisp edges.
