Ingredients

  • 8 fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 1/2 cups chilled sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup natural sweetener (sugar, honey, or agave)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Wash strawberries thoroughly and pat dry
  • Muddle strawberries gently in a glass using a muddler or wooden spoon
  • Add 2 tablespoons of sweetener to the glass and stir until combined
  • Top with crushed ice and pour in sparkling water
  • Stir in remaining sweetener and lemon juice
  • Garnish with mint leaves and additional strawberries

Notes

Adjust sweetness by reducing sweetener by 1-2 tablespoons for less sugar
Use store-bought strawberry puree instead of whole fruit
