Equipment

  • air fryer
  • tongs
  • meat thermometer
  • serving plate

Ingredients

  • 8 sausages (pork, chicken, turkey, or chipolata)
  • 1 tsp olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375–400°F for 3–5 minutes.
  • Arrange the sausages in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, leaving space between each sausage for airflow.
  • Cook the sausages for 8–12 minutes depending on their thickness and type.
  • Flip the sausages halfway through cooking to help both sides brown evenly.
  • Check that the sausages are fully cooked and the inside reaches a safe temperature before serving.
  • Let the sausages rest for 1–2 minutes before serving to help retain their juices.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket or the sausages may cook unevenly. Turn the sausages halfway through cooking for even browning. Frozen sausages may require an extra 3–5 minutes. Let sausages rest briefly before serving to help keep them juicy.
