Sausages in air fryer are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and incredibly easy to make. This quick cooking method works with pork, chicken, turkey, chipolata, and frozen sausages while using minimal oil and very little cleanup.
Preheat the air fryer to 375–400°F for 3–5 minutes.
Arrange the sausages in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, leaving space between each sausage for airflow.
Cook the sausages for 8–12 minutes depending on their thickness and type.
Flip the sausages halfway through cooking to help both sides brown evenly.
Check that the sausages are fully cooked and the inside reaches a safe temperature before serving.
Let the sausages rest for 1–2 minutes before serving to help retain their juices.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket or the sausages may cook unevenly. Turn the sausages halfway through cooking for even browning. Frozen sausages may require an extra 3–5 minutes. Let sausages rest briefly before serving to help keep them juicy.
