Equipment

  • air fryer
  • tongs
  • meat thermometer
  • serving plate

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh sausages (pork, Italian, chicken, or turkey)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375–400°F for 3–5 minutes.
  • Place the sausages in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, leaving small gaps between them for airflow.
  • Cook the sausages for 8–12 minutes depending on their size and thickness.
  • Flip the sausages halfway through cooking to ensure even browning and crisp texture.
  • Check that the sausages are fully cooked and browned on the outside before removing them from the air fryer.
  • Let the sausages rest for 1–2 minutes before serving to help keep them juicy.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket or the sausages may cook unevenly. Turn the sausages halfway through cooking for the crispiest texture. Frozen sausages may require an additional 3–5 minutes of cooking time. Let sausages rest briefly before serving to help retain juices.
