Ingredients

  • 1/2 fresh lemon (juiced)
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1 cup warm water

Instructions

  • Juice half a fresh lemon and grate a small amount of ginger.
  • Heat water until warm but not boiling.
  • Add the lemon juice and grated ginger to the warm water.
  • Stir well to blend the flavors.
  • Add honey if desired and mix until dissolved.
  • Let the drink sit for 2–3 minutes, then strain if desired and serve warm.

Notes
