Sift 1–2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a bowl. Add 2–3 tablespoons of warm water and whisk until smooth and slightly frothy.
Squeeze fresh lemons to get 2–3 tablespoons of juice. Pour into a glass or pitcher and add 1–2 cups of cold water.
Add 1–2 teaspoons of honey, maple syrup, or simple syrup. Stir until fully dissolved.
