Equipment

  • kettle
  • cup
  • spoon
  • citrus juicer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tea bag (black or green tea)
  • 1/2 fresh lemon (juiced)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • fresh ginger slices (optional)
  • ice cubes (optional for iced version)

Instructions

  • Boil one cup of water and pour it into a cup. Add the tea bag and let it steep for 3–5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bag and allow the tea to cool slightly.
  • Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir gently.
  • Add honey if desired and mix until dissolved.
  • Serve hot or let it cool completely and pour over ice for a chilled version.

Notes

Let the tea cool slightly before adding lemon juice to avoid bitterness. Adjust lemon quantity and sweetness to taste. Use honey for a smoother flavor or add ginger for extra warmth. Serve hot or chilled over ice depending on preference.
