Equipment

  • large pitcher
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • refrigerator

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lemon (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cucumber (sliced into rounds)
  • 8-10 fresh mint leaves
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 4-5 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash the lemon, cucumber, and mint leaves thoroughly under cold water.
  • Slice the lemon and cucumber into thin rounds. Lightly crush the mint leaves to release flavor.
  • Add the lemon slices, cucumber slices, and mint leaves to a large pitcher.
  • Pour cold water into the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours to allow the flavors to infuse.
  • Serve chilled over ice and enjoy throughout the day.

Notes

Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours for best flavor. Do not infuse longer than 24 hours to avoid bitterness. You can reuse ingredients once, but flavor will be lighter. Add ginger or lime for variation, or use sparkling water for a fizzy version.
