Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp crushed pecans
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp berries

Instructions

  • Add the hemp hearts, chia seeds, ground flaxseed, almond flour, almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt into a medium saucepan.
  • Stir everything together gently before turning on the heat.
  • Cook the mixture over medium-low heat while stirring frequently so the chia seeds and flaxseed absorb liquid evenly.
  • Continue cooking until the keto oatmeal becomes creamy and warm. Add extra almond milk if the mixture becomes too thick.
  • Stir in almond butter, peanut butter, protein powder, or crushed pecans for extra richness and protein if desired.
  • Serve warm with coconut flakes, berries, cinnamon, or additional nut butter on top.

Notes

For creamier keto oatmeal, add extra almond milk before serving. Avoid overheating almond flour to prevent grainy texture. Customize with almond butter, pecans, coconut flakes, protein powder, or berries. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
