  • 2 cups water (divided: cold and warm)
  • 1-2 tsp natural sweetener or sugar-free flavoring
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  • Add 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin to 1/2 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  • Heat 1 1/2 cups of water until warm (not boiling), then pour it over the bloomed gelatin.
  • Stir the mixture thoroughly until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
  • Add sweetener and optional lemon juice or flavoring, then mix well.
  • Pour into containers and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm. Serve chilled.

Notes

Do not skip blooming the gelatin, as it ensures a smooth texture. Avoid boiling water to prevent damaging the gelatin structure. You can customize flavor with lemon juice, herbal tea, or sugar-free additives while keeping calories low.
