Equipment

  • cup or mug
  • kettle or pot
  • spoon
  • tea strainer (if using loose tea)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 green tea bag (or 1 tsp loose green tea)
  • 1-2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat water until warm but not boiling.
  • Steep the green tea for 2–3 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bag or strain the leaves.
  • Add lemon juice and apple cider vinegar.
  • Stir well and add honey if desired.
  • Let it cool slightly and drink warm.

Notes

Do not use boiling water as it can make the tea bitter. Start with small amounts of apple cider vinegar and adjust to taste. Fresh lemon juice improves flavor significantly. Drink fresh for best results and focus on consistency rather than adding extra ingredients.
