Ingredients

  • 6 fresh jalapeños
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil spray

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the jalapeños. Slice each jalapeño lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and turkey bacon until smooth.
  • Fill each jalapeño half evenly with the cheese mixture without overfilling.
  • Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs lightly over the top of each filled jalapeño and spray lightly with olive oil.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes.
  • Arrange the stuffed jalapeños in a single layer inside the air fryer basket with space between each pepper.
  • Air fry at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes until the peppers soften and the tops become golden and crispy.
  • Let the jalapeño poppers rest for 1 minute before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For milder poppers, remove all seeds and membranes before filling. Add turkey bacon for smoky flavor or sprinkle panko breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch. Preheating the air fryer helps create crispier tops. Avoid overcrowding the basket for even cooking.
