Ingredients

  • 1 pound (16 oz) ground beef
  • 1½ cups water
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (no alcohol)
  • 1 cup canned tomato sauce
  • 12 oz short pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, chopped cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions

  • Brown beef in Instant Pot on sauté function
  • Add taco seasoning, tomato sauce, pasta, broth
  • Close lid, set to pressure cook for 8 minutes
  • Allow natural release for 10 minutes
  • Stir thoroughly and serve warm

Notes

Use any short pasta (rotini, penne, orzo). Store leftovers refrigerated for 3 days. Can substitute ground turkey if preferred.
