Ingredients

  • 4 frozen chicken breasts (4–6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Instructions

  • Pat chicken dry with paper towels
  • Heat olive oil in Instant Pot on sauté mode
  • Brown chicken briefly (optional)
  • Add garlic, salt, and pepper
  • cancel sauté mode and add 1 cup water/vegetable broth
  • Secure lid, set to high pressure for 15 minutes
  • Allow 10-minute natural release before opening

Notes

Use chicken thighs for heartier texture
Add frozen vegetables during last 5 minutes of cooking
