Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Heat 2/3 cup whole milk in microwave or saucepan until warm (not boiling)
  • Blend warm milk with cocoa powder, chocolate syrup, and a pinch of salt until smooth
  • Add vanilla ice cream and 2 tablespoons milk to blender
  • Continue blending until thick and uniform
  • Serve topped with whipped cream and additional cocoa powder

Notes

Adjust sweetness by reducing/sweetening the chocolate syrup
