Ingredients

  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 4 fresh basil leaves
  • Juice of 2 limes (approx. 1/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup
  • 4 cups chilled sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime slices or additional mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Muddle mint and basil leaves gently in a shaker to release their oils.
  • Add lime juice and agave syrup to the muddled herbs.
  • Top the shaker with ice cubes and stir vigorously for 20 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into chilled glasses filled with ice.
  • Pour sparkling water over the strained mixture.
