Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • spoon
  • measuring spoons
  • container or dish
  • refrigerator

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup warm water or herbal tea
  • 1-2 tsp natural sweetener (optional)

Instructions

  • Pour 2–3 tablespoons of cold water into a bowl and sprinkle the gelatin on top. Let it sit for 2–3 minutes to bloom.
  • Add warm (not boiling) water or herbal tea and stir slowly until the gelatin fully dissolves.
  • Mix in the natural sweetener or optional flavorings like lemon juice.
  • Pour the mixture into a container and refrigerate for 1–2 hours until set.
  • Serve before meals or as a light snack to help manage appetite.

Notes

Do not use boiling water as it can break down the gelatin. Always bloom the gelatin first for best texture. You can customize flavor with lemon juice, herbal tea, or spices like ginger or cinnamon. Best used consistently before meals.
