Garlic Bread Recipe: Crispy, Golden, and Irresistible

1crusty Italian bread loaf (about 12 inches long),
4tablespoonsunsalted butter (softened),
4clovesgarlic (minced),
1tablespoonfresh parsley (chopped),
1/4cupgrated Parmesan cheese (optional),
Coarse sea salt (to taste)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Split bread loaf lengthwise and place on a baking sheet
Mix butter, minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt in a bowl
Spread mixture evenly on bread slices
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top
Bake for 8 minutes until golden
Switch to broil and cook 2-3 minutes for a crispy finish
Notes
Use fresh garlic for maximum flavor—pre-packaged minced garlic is less aromatic
Bread works best if not overly fresh (1 day old is ideal)
Add chili flakes or oregano for extra depth
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days
