Equipment

  • air fryer
  • air fryer basket
  • ramekin Optional for fried eggs
  • mixing spoon
  • large bowl For ice bath

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp oil or cooking spray for ramekin (optional)
  • 1 pinch black pepper (optional)
  • 1 tbsp shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer for 2 to 3 minutes at the desired cooking temperature.
  • Place the eggs into the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each egg for proper airflow.
  • For hard-boiled eggs, cook at 270°F for 13 to 15 minutes depending on desired firmness. For soft-boiled eggs, cook for 9 to 10 minutes.
  • For fried or over-easy eggs, crack the eggs into a lightly greased ramekin and cook at 350°F for 4 to 6 minutes.
  • Transfer boiled eggs immediately to an ice bath to stop the cooking process and improve peeling.
  • Season with black pepper, cheese, herbs, or preferred toppings before serving warm.

Notes

Preheat the air fryer lightly before cooking for more even results. Transfer boiled eggs to an ice bath immediately after cooking to stop the cooking process and make peeling easier. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on egg size and air fryer model.
