Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • measuring cups
  • spoon or whisk
  • small saucepan
  • serving cups or molds

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups fruit juice or flavored liquid
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1-2 tbsp optional sweetener

Instructions

  • Add gelatin powder to cold water and let it sit for 3–5 minutes to bloom.
  • Warm the fruit juice or chosen liquid gently without bringing it to a boil.
  • Stir the bloomed gelatin into the warm liquid until completely dissolved and smooth.
  • Add optional sweetener and adjust flavor to taste.
  • Pour the mixture into cups or molds and refrigerate for 2–3 hours until fully set.

Notes

Do not skip blooming the gelatin, as it ensures a smooth texture. Avoid boiling the liquid, as it can weaken the gelatin. Adjust sweetness based on your preference. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Do not freeze, as it affects texture.
