Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • measuring cups
  • spoon or whisk
  • small saucepan or kettle
  • refrigerator

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup warm water or tea
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 tsp natural sweetener like honey or stevia (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the unflavored gelatin to cold water and let it sit for 3–5 minutes to bloom.
  • Heat the water or tea until warm but not boiling.
  • Add the bloomed gelatin into the warm liquid and stir until completely dissolved.
  • Add lemon juice or sweetener if desired and mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl or containers and refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.

Notes

For best results, always bloom the gelatin before mixing to avoid lumps. You can customize the flavor with lemon juice, herbal tea, or a small amount of natural sweetener like honey or stevia. Chill fully for proper texture. For variety, pour into molds to create gummies.
