Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast or tenderloins
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp oil spray

Instructions

  • Slice chicken breasts into even strips or use tenderloins. Pat dry to help coating stick.
  • Set up three bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each chicken strip into flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Press lightly to coat evenly.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for a few minutes.
  • Place chicken strips in a single layer in the basket and lightly spray with oil.
  • Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs and lightly spray with oil before cooking. Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure even airflow. You can customize flavors with parmesan, spices, or a buttermilk soak for added tenderness.
