Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bing cherries (fresh or 1 cup frozen)
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons organic cane sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 teaspoons cherry syrup (store-bought or homemade with sugar and cherry juice)

Instructions

  • Blend cherries with sugar, lemon juice, and 1/4 cup water until smooth
  • Strain the mixture to remove seeds and pulp
  • Divide into 4 glasses over ice
  • Top each glass with sparkling water
  • Garnish with fresh cherries and herbs if desired

Notes

For frozen cherries, skip adding additional water
Add lime or orange slices for extra flavor
Cherry syrup can be replaced with honey or agave nectar
Serve chilled for best refreshment
