Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 g fresh mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 100 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 30 g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or thyme (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut a pocket into each chicken breast using a sharp knife, being careful not to slice all the way through.
  • Heat olive oil or butter in a pan, then sauté mushrooms and garlic until softened and moisture evaporates.
  • Remove from heat and mix with cream cheese, mozzarella, and parmesan until well combined.
  • Spoon the mixture into each chicken breast pocket and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  • Season the outside with salt, pepper, and herbs, then place in a baking dish.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Avoid overfilling the chicken to prevent splitting أثناء baking. Always cook mushrooms first to remove excess moisture. You can add spinach or bacon for variation, or use reduced-fat cheese for a lighter version. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving to keep it juicy.
