Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water (for syrup)
  • 1 1/2 cups cold brewed coffee or chilled espresso
  • 1/2 cup whole milk or non-dairy milk
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  • Combine brown sugar and water in a saucepan; heat over low until sugar dissolves, 3-4 minutes
  • Let syrup cool completely
  • Add ice to a glass
  • Pour in coffee, then brown sugar syrup
  • Stir in milk until well blended
  • Serve with additional ice if desired
