Equipment

  • baking tray
  • mixing bowl
  • measuring spoons
  • tongs
  • meat thermometer

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick.
  • Place the chicken in a bowl and coat with ranch seasoning and olive oil or melted butter.
  • Press breadcrumbs and Parmesan onto the chicken if using for a crispy coating.
  • Arrange chicken on a baking tray and bake for 20–25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan. You can swap butter for olive oil for a lighter version. Use low-sodium ranch seasoning if needed. Let the chicken rest before serving to keep it juicy.
