Equipment

  • air fryer
  • mixing bowl
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • tongs or spatula

Ingredients

  • fresh salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into cubes
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder or fresh garlic
  • paprika or smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon dry and cut it into evenly sized cubes (about 1 to 1.5 inches).
  • Place the salmon pieces in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3–5 minutes.
  • Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each piece.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Check for doneness. Salmon should be golden outside and flake easily inside, reaching an internal temperature of 145°F.

Notes

Cut salmon into evenly sized cubes for consistent cooking. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure crispiness. Use a light amount of oil for best texture. Shake halfway through cooking for even browning. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
