Equipment

  • air fryer
  • tongs
  • mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lb frozen chicken wings (whole or split)
  • 1-2 tsp oil (optional)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • optional sauces or dry rubs

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for 3–5 minutes.
  • Place the frozen chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not stack them.
  • Cook at 380°F for 15–18 minutes, flipping or shaking halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Drain any excess liquid from the air fryer basket to remove moisture.
  • Increase the temperature to 400°F and cook for another 8–12 minutes, shaking occasionally, until the wings are golden and crispy.
  • Transfer the wings to a bowl, season with salt, pepper, or toss with your favorite sauce, then serve immediately.

Notes

Do not thaw the wings before cooking for best results. Always drain excess liquid halfway through cooking to ensure crispiness. Avoid overcrowding the basket and cook in batches if needed. Toss with your favorite sauces like buffalo, BBQ, or garlic parmesan after cooking.
