Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 spray olive oil spray

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If needed, pound or slice to even thickness for even cooking.
  • Set up three bowls: one with flour, salt, and pepper; one with beaten eggs; and one with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika and garlic powder.
  • Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip into eggs, then cover with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to stick.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with olive oil.
  • Cook for 16–20 minutes at 375°F, flipping halfway through cooking.
  • Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F, then remove and let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, pat chicken dry before breading and avoid overcrowding the air fryer. Lightly spray with oil for a crispier finish. Let the chicken rest for 3–5 minutes after cooking to keep it juicy. You can customize flavors with spices, parmesan, or low-carb coatings like almond flour.
