Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (separable into drumettes and flats)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Cooking spray (optional)

Instructions

  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and cayenne pepper
  • Coat wings evenly with the seasoning mixture
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes
  • Place wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket
  • Air fry at 400°F for 15 minutes, no flipping necessary
  • Rest wings 5 minutes before serving

Notes

Wings don't need flipping thanks to air fryer's heat circulation
For extra crispiness, spray with a little cooking spray before final minute
Use a meat thermometer: wings are done at 165°F (74°C)
Serve with store-bought or homemade sauce on the side
