Equipment

  • air fryer
  • meat thermometer
  • mixing bowl
  • tongs
  • paper towels

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F and let it heat for 3–5 minutes.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to improve texture and help seasoning stick.
  • Rub olive oil over the chicken, then season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken and continue cooking for 5–8 minutes.
  • Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F using a meat thermometer.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.

Notes

For best results, use evenly sized chicken breasts and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after cooking to retain juices. You can customize seasoning with garlic herb, BBQ, or spicy blends.
