Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon of green tea leaves (or matcha powder)
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
- 2 cups of hot water
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the water and steep the green tea leaves for 3-5 minutes.
- While the tea is steeping, grate the fresh ginger and add it to the cup.
- After the green tea has steeped, pour it into the cup with the ginger.
- Add the juice of one lemon and stir.
- Optionally, add honey for sweetness.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
- Drink this tea in the morning, ideally on an empty stomach, to kickstart your metabolism and help with fat burning.
