Ingredients
Scale
Simple and fresh ingredients to make Air Fryer Salmon, including garlic powder, paprika, and olive oil. 2 salmon fillets (skin on or skinless, depending on preference)
- 1–2 tablespoons of olive oil (or avocado oil for a neutral flavor)
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika (optional for color and smokiness)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh lemon wedges (optional, for serving)
- Fresh herbs like parsley or dill (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon Fillets: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and rub evenly.
- Season the Salmon: Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Cook the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 7-10 minutes, checking the internal temperature (120°F/49°C for medium-rare or 145°F/63°C for fully cooked).
- Check for Doneness: Use a fork to check if the flesh flakes easily and is juicy inside.
- Serve: Remove the salmon from the air fryer, serve with lemon wedges, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For crispy skin, use skin-on salmon fillets. You can also experiment with different seasonings like lemon zest or garlic butter for added flavor.
